HONEY, I'M HOME!!!!

Well, I'm back! It feels so good to be writing to you guys again! I felt the need to take a break, as I was going through a lot of moving around, and change, I recently moved schools & had to get into the swing of a new work week routine, and had to spend a lot of time getting my flat prepared for my summer YouTube ventures. I felt that I wouldn't be doing anybody any justice by putting out bad posts every week. From now on through the rest of the summer, I plan on being here every Friday telling you guys what's happening in my life. Yes, this includes posts such as, Monthly Favourites, Let's Talk Life Plans, Recipes, DIY's , Fashion, and MUCH more!

This weeks post is going to pointed more toward a seminar I attended this week that really hit close to home with me. If you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, you may have heard of the death of a teenage boy by the name of Elliot Ruyan...Elliot passed away Sunday night (mother's day) at the age of 13 years old from an overdose on prescription Xanax Bars....that's right...BARS!! It's ridiculous that developing teens feel the need to do hard drugs to "be cool", or "fit in with the crowd"! If that's what being cool is, I'm glad I don't have any friends. Now, I never got to meet Elliot, but I did get to meet a lot of his family, as his brother is in my grade, his other brother is one of my teachers, and his mother used to be my counselor. On Thursday, my school's administration brought in an amazing lady by the name of Kathy O'Keefe (who is the founder of the Winning The Fight (WTF) organization) to talk to the student body about Narcotic & Alcohol Abuse Awareness, and the devastation that it can cause in your life. Through the hour that she was with us, she told us the tragic story of her son Kyle's battle and loss with Opioids (Meth)...she showed us that hard drugs don't play games. She showed us that drugs are real and that they are no stranger to death...she also gave us some very helpful information about ways to get clean, and how to Win The Fight...that's what I want to share with all of you, because I do not want to lose anybody around me to narcotics abuse...If you or somebody you know is struggling with an addiction to any kind of drug or alcohol, I want you to call my friend Kathy (Infor Below), and get help! It's never too late to save a life!

Now, that I got that out, I want to share some of my upcoming plans with you guys! From the 23rd of July to the 30th of July, I will be on the Island of Port Aransas, Texas on a family holiday, if you're going to be there as well, let me know! I plan to do as much vlogging as I possibly can so that you guys can see the true beauty of the Texas coast. This summer, I am also planning to kick off my YouTube Channel with some pretty cheeky starter content! I'm, also possibly going to be road tripping to Arkansas a few times this summer, but I am not sure yet, so I will keep y'all updated!

Thank You so much for reading, I will be back next Friday with a whole new topic! Until then, keep up with me though all of my social media pages, Don't Play With Drugs, Make Somebody's Week & Most Important, Don't Forget To Smile!

Lets Talk Life!

The past two moths have been so crazy for me, I have noticed that my day to day life has changed so much from what it used to be...most really good changes...I have learned a lot of things about life, and met some amazing people. I want to share a little bit about what I have recently experienced as well as some of my upcoming plans, and what the rest of 2014 like to me.

I have always wanted to be well known by the public, but I never knew what I wanted to do to get there...until the 7th of March that is, on that day, I posted my first weekly blog post. From then on, I knew that I wanted to write about the things that I love as well as the things that I take interest in, in a way that others could read and possibly share with others. Within that first month, I had also featured on YouTube, and set up a Tumblr blog, I guess this is part of the reason that I gained 1.5K new followers on my main instagram. Around the beginning of April, I decided that I was going to set up, and manage weekly posts on my very own YouTube page, including challenges, Vlogs, and some cheeky content here and there. I plan on posting around  then end of July on the beginning of August, and going for as long as I possibly can. My main goal in this channel is to just have fun, and to give you guys some good content. I also have a few special guests that I plan on collaborating with throughout the year, so be on the look out for that!

This summer, I plan on going to Oklahoma City, Downtown Dallas, Port Arnasas, and a few other places, and of course I will be doing some cheeky Vlogs here and there purely for your enjoyment! Along with that, I will be doing some content with my family across the country. I will also be doing a lot of fun content with my friends throughout the year. If you have content request, feel more than free to Tweet me. Most of my plans are still in the works, I may add, or change some minor details, stay tuned to my Social Media to get updated.

Thank You so much for reading, I will be back next Friday with a whole new topic! Until then, keep up with me though all of my social media, you never know what little tips or trend I may be talking about throughout the week!

The Throwback Tag

This week's post is going to be a little bit different from my previous ones, in the way that it is going to be a tag such as one that you might find on a YouTube channel more. I am doing my first tag through my blog, because I have yet to get the equipment that I need to begin recording content (I'm hoping to have my first video up around August or September of 2014) I hope you guys enjoy learning a little bit about the dude behind this amazing blog!

I took a lot of the questions from the Throwback Tag videos found on YouTube, and kind of put my own twist on them so that I could fully answer them through a blog post format. I won't be able to include any MP4's however I will include lots of pictures of little me. so here we go!!!

When were you born?

I was born on the 24th of July 1997 in Richardson, Texas, pretty close to lunch time, which I think is why I love food so much.

Do you have any pictures of you from when you were little?

This is a picture of me & my mother on my first birthday (24th of July 1998). For my birthday, my parents though it would be fun to get me a BLUE cake and just let me rip through it...When it was all over and the dust had cleared, my parents were left with a Smurf child for at least a week.

What T.V. shows did you grow up watching?
there is an 8 year difference between me and my oldest brother, so when I was growing up, I usually had to watch whatever he wanted. We watched shows such as The Amanda Show, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Catdog, Dexter's Laboratory, Spongebob, and Hey Arnold, which were all the staple T.V. shows of the lat 90's and early 2000's.

What did you want to be when you were growing up? Do you still want to be that?

when I was little, I wanted to be a Real Estate broker, because at the time both of my parents were, and I thought "Selling Castles was the coolest thing ever!" I still have an interest in Real Estate, but it isn't my first choice as far as my future line of work.

What Were your favourite toys to play with?

when  i was around 5, I had this little toy Lawn Mower that would blow bubbles when you pushed it, and it was my ABSOLUTE favourite toy of all time. Getting to play with it was a special occasion, since my dad would only cut the grass like once every 2 weeks.

What is the most embarrassing thing you can remember doing?

My parents were busy trying to get new listings, and closing deals, so I was in daycare a lot of the time during the week. While I was there, I preferred to play with my Imaginary Friend Mamma Yoyce who I had "Known" since I was about 3. I liked to play with her because "She was nicer than the Kids". I would often be off by myself in the corner of the play yard, because as far as I was concerned, I has all the friends I needed. I'm pretty sure my parents and the staff thought I was completely insane, but they never said anything about it. I played with Mamma Yoyce up until I moved away when I was 6 or 7.

What are three songs you listened to when you were little?

My mom used to wake me up singing old rock band songs like Nirvana, AC/DC, and a few other bands. I don't remember any songs exactly, but I can still remember her vividly to this very day. I know it is defiantly something that I will do with my kids. Thanks for that, Mom!

What was one funny/cool thing you dressed up as for Halloween?

When I was either 6 or 7, I  dressed up as Peter Pan, which at the time was my ABSOLUTE favourite Disney film. I wish I still had pictures, but I lost them. I remember being so excited  to get to dress up like Peter Pan, because I though if I did, I would never grow up.

Tell a story of one of the best times of your younger life.

When I was 7 years old, my dad had told me that he was going to take a trip to this distant land called Barcelona to go see my baby cousin for the first time. I had never been on a plane before, and  I had no idea what to expect, and I defiantly wasn't expecting the flight to last 16 hours. We took off from San Antonio, stopped in New York City, then flew over to France, gassed up, then took our last leg of the flight. After what seemed like an Eternity, we had finally arrived in Spain. Having lived in South Texas for about 2 years, I wasn't prepared for just how cold it was going to be, when we got there it was snowing, which wasn;t something I had seen before. We were there around Christmas time, which was so beautiful, because every street was decorated to the fullest extent possible unlike here in Texas...I remember going shopping, and sight seeing, and just being blown away by the beauty both culturally and landscape wise. While there, I got to try some new foods, go to a TON of castles, and watch Finding Nemo on it premier night..the only downside was that it was in Spanish...overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would love to go back.

Are there any special Items you kept from when you were a baby?

When I was a baby, I had a massive Clay Rosary hanging in my Nursery, which is pretty similar to this one. For the longest time, I had forgotten about it, because it was packed away in one of our many storage lockers. A few summers ago while moving, my mom had found it, and decided to give it back to me. It is hanging on the wall in my bedroom surrounded by my dream catcher collection to this very day! When I have kids, I plan on using it in their Nursery just like it was in mine. I am hoping that this will become a family heirloom.

What was something weird you used to do as a child?

when my parents were in Real Estate, I used to walk around their office building acting as if I was everybody's manger. I would walk around making sure everyone was doing what they need to, and I would go tell my parents of people were messing around...and this was completely voluntary, because my parents weren't the people to send a child to spy on employees.

Whats the scariest thing you can remember happening?

When I was 11 years old, I was riding my bike around this apartment complex we used to live in, and nearly cheated death. What happened was I took a turn around the corner while somebody was driving into the gate, and they didn't see me coming. I though they were going to hit me, so I swerved to the side hit the curb went flying and skinned about a foot and a half of my shin down to the muscle. At the time, I didn't have a phone, and I was about a quarter of a mile from my apartment, and that person went speeding off leaving me to get home by myself, so I had to kind of limp/crawl back. When I got there, my step mom helped me up the stairs and  cleaned me up, I don't know how she managed to do it, because there was blood everywhere on the floor, she was amazingly helpful. To this day, I still have a scar and it looks like somebody got murdered on that part of the road. That was by far one of the scariest things I have ever experienced.

How is the world different now from when you were growing up?

Life is different , because I have so much more responsibility and pressure placed on me now than I ever have before. I have 3,500+ followers and readers that I have to tend to on top of finishing up high school. I have a lot of meetings and deals that I am working out, that I will hopefully be able to fully talk about soon, and I have a lot more to do in one day. I'm not at all complaining about any of this stuff, because I know how blessed I am to be in this position. Life is so much different now, because I know what's out there in the world, and I know what I want to do whereas when I was a kid, I was sheltered and blinded from the rest of the outside world. I hop to someday travel to the world, meet new people, and ,make a name for my self.

My March Favourites!

As we come to the end of March I decided that I would pick up a more common blog post that I have seen, It's Called the Monthly Favourites Post! Each month, I will tell you guys what I have been liking, from food to products, personalities, clothing, music, and movies. I will also rate it from 1 to 10, and try to tell you where you could find it, if you were interested!

Music:

1. Baptized by Daughty (Album)

Baptized is the fourth studio album to be dropped by the band since the beginning of their Career. The album dropped 11-19-2013, and I have been in love with ever since! My favourite songs off of the album are Baptized and Battleships. Overall I give the album an 8 out of 10

2. Mastermind by Rick Ross (Album)

Mastermind is the sixth studio album by superstar rapper Rick Ross. The album dropped 03-03-2014, and has since them dominated all of the pop culture music charts. Years before this album came out, I knew that it was going to be absolutely amazing, and that it was going to take the hip hop industry by storm! My favourite songs off of the album are Shots Fired, The Devil Is A Lie, and War Ready, I would without a doubt give the album a 10 out of 10, and I highly recommend it for anyone that is into rap.

3. Louder by Lea Michelle (Album)

Louder, Lea Michelle's debut studio album, dropped on 02-28-2014, and has since then been talked about, and featured almost daily! When I first heard the album, I was blown away by the pure soul and dedication that was put into each & every song. My favourite songs off of it are Burn With You, Louder, Cannonball, and just about every other song! For this reason, I would without a shadow of a doubt give the album a 10 out of 10, and highly recommend that you listen to it!

4. Young Money: Rise of An Empire by YMCMB (Compilation Album)

Young Money: Rise of an Empire is the second compilation album to have been released by Young Money Entertainment since their creation. The collab filled album dropped on 03-11-2014, and feature they new and old of Young Money as well as some special guest artists. My favourite songs off the record are Trophies, We Alright, and Lookin A$$. I would give the album a 7 out of 10, and only recommend it if your into the mainstream, and more aggressive rap.

5. DEMI by Demi Lovato (Album)

DEMI is Demi Lovato's fourth studio album since the beginning of her career. since it's release on 05-10-2013, the album has be at the 3 spot on the Top 40 list in almost every country in the world, not to mention that it has gone Platinum, Double, and Triple Platinum all the way up to Gold already! Compared to broken, I think DEMI is a smash hit! I defiantly fell in love with the album as soon as I heard it, and I fell in love with Demi all over again as well. I would rate the album 10  out of 10, and HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE!

6. Tupac Back by Meek Mill (Single)

Tupac Back was Meek Mill's first Studio Single, which he recorded shortly after being signed to the prestigious Maybach Music Group Label. This song was also one of the headliners on Selfmade Vol 1. The song dropped 04-05-2011 and truly showed the world what Meek Mill is made of, since then, he has been names the #3 Hottest MC in the world! Good Job, Meek! When I first heard this song, I fell for the lyrics, and had it on repeat for days! I would rate this song a 8 out of 10 and would recommend it to any Rap lover.

FOOD!

1. Al Biernat's (BURNAY) Dallas ($$$)
https://www.albiernats.com/

My grandparents recently came into town, and anytime they do, I know that I will be eating good food, and having a great time! Recently, we went out to this cheeky little Seafood/Steak House in Dallas. First impressions were that it was really popular, well stocked with booze, and that it was more than likely going to be expensive ($$$ at top). All 8 of us sat down at a round table, had a few rounds of drinks, and eventually ate some of the best food I have ever had in my life! If you go, I would recommend the Sea Bass on Risotto! When we were done, and the check came, we were nearly blown away, but still well within our means. You can expect to generally pay between $100 and $150 per person. I would give this restaurant a solid 10 out of 10 as far as service, atmosphere, and food!

2. In N Out Burger ($$)

I have always had a STRONG love for In N Out Burger, but I was unfortunately relocated to an area where I did not think there were any location, little did I know that there are at least 6 locations in D/FW. Sure I have to drive 25 Miles for a burger, but it's well worth it!!!! Since figuring out where the nearest location is, I have been making weekly trips to my "Holy Land" to get my own piece of heaven! If you haven't had In N Out Burger yet, you have not lived, and I highly recommend it! They will always be a 11 out of 10 in my books! Bravo, Harry Snyder!

3. Abuelo's Mexican ($$$)

Abuelo's is Mexican Cuisine Heaven! If you live anywhere in the south west and you have a hankering for some good home made Mexican, you need to find your nearest Abuelo's! Rather it's a car ride, or a plane ride away, I promise you it's worth visiting. I have only been 2 times, but I'm pretty sure that I am addicted to it.

TV Shows, Movies & YouTube:

1. Zoella
https://www.youtube.com/user/zoella280390

Zoe Sugg A.K.A Zoella is a South West English YouTuber who does everything from common tags to Make Up, Fashion Hauls, Trend Alerts, and Light Hearted Holiday activities. I love her for everything that she is, and ever could be, because she is Smart, Helpful, Funny, and SOOOO Down To Earth. Every video shows the real her, and that's whats amazing about her. I have not missed a single video or vlog, and don't plan on it ever happening! Zoe if your reading this, please stay just the way you are! You are described as #GoneWithTheWindFabulous

2. Rich Kids of Beverly Hills
(Sundays at 9PM CST on E!)

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills is an inside look on the lives of Roxy, Jonny, Dorothy, Morgan, Brandon & EJ. As filming went down, none of the cast members held back, we saw high end designer brands, luxury vehicles, Holiday Trips, and even Half A Million Dollar shopping trips. All and all, this show defiantly is a good motivation to get to work. I don't want to spoil anything for you, so if yo want to know more, tune in!

3. Jackgap Rickshaw Run Series
https://www.youtube.com/user/JacksGap

Jack & Finn Harries A.K.A Jacksgap took a 3 week trip to India back in September of 2013 to compete in a charity event called the Ricksaw Run, basically they were going to be traversing the width of the nation of India within a 3 week limit in a small golf cart like vehicle called a Rickshaw. During their trip, they were aiming to raise as much money as they could for the Teenage Caner Trust. Throughout the 3 week period, cameras were constantly rolling, and the boys along with the entire gang got to experience the culture of India. I would highly recommend watching the 4 part series sometime!

Products:

1. AQUAhydrate Water
http://www.aquahydrate.com/

I love AQUAhydrate, but I have yet to find a place in D/FW that sells it. Since I discovered it back on holiday in June, I have had to order it by the case from the website. AQUAhydrate is special, because it has a higher pH level than any other water in the game, this is because ti is meant to be consumed before during and after a workout. essentially it is like Gatorade, but it doesn't have the sugar or calories, this in turn has helped me to feel a lot more fit to work out than I previously did. I recommend it rather you workout or not.

2. Rich & Foamous Almond Oats & Brown Sugar Body Washes & Bath Soaps by Soap & Glory

I have been using this product for around a year now...MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE alongside rich and foamus. The smell islike none other!! And its such a good moisturiser too, I use it every day its not greasy on the skin either, which I love! Steer away from this if you don't like sweet smells..go for sugar crush if you like fruity and righteous butter if you like fruity/floral scents. There really is something for everyone in the S&G ranges..and this is definitely for me!!! I will always buy this product, I have 2 bottles that a friend brought me back from London, and they are prized possession!

3. Gucci Guilty Black by Gucci
http://www.sephora.com/guilty-black-P378267

Gucci Guilty was a part of Gucci's newest chapter of their Guilty line, it is a light, and very comforting smell, that could never possibly be over bearing. When you smell it, you will think it is French, because of how delicate the smell is. It is something new for Italian Fragrances, and is defiantly a good choice!

Thank You so much for reading, I will be back next Friday with a whole new topic! Until then, keep up with me though all of my social media, you never know what little tips or trend I may be talking about throughout the week!

DASH Miami Grand Opening

On March the 11th, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rob Scheppy, Scott Disick, Jonathan Cheban, Jordyn Woods, and Rapper Lil Twist were all spotted in Miami. When word got out, surrounding fans went crazy over the fact that they were in the same town as the reality stars, this being one of the reasons why their travel destination, arrival was kept a major secret up until their arrival.

While in Miami, the Kardashian/Jenner Clan needed a place to stay...well instead of taking the basic route, the Clan decided to camp out at the world famous Versace Mansion, former home to famed designer, Gianni Versace. While in the home, the clan sent out many pictures of the beautiful Medusa Logo in front of the back pool, which was the confirming factor to fans that they were indeed in town.

(Photo Posted To Instagram by Khloe Kardashian)
(Photo Posted To Instagram by Lil Twist)

While in Miami, the girls decided to go out for some lunch, and to get in some last minute shopping before the opening ceremony for DASH later that night. Upon stepping out into the streets of Miami, the girls realized that paparazzi was still going to be a major problem. Throughout the day, the girls were stalked by paparazzi, who captured every single activity they did (go figure!). The girls all looked amazing, rocking their own original Miami looks. Khloé rocked her signature look, which was a form fitting nude Jumpsuit with a pair of Nude heels, Kylie rocked some gorgeous, and pretty chic khaki/Tan Overalls with a white cropped T-shirt, and yellow heels, while Kim showed of her AMAZING post pregnancy bod in a Kardashian Kollection Cropped Turtleneck, a Vintage Alaia Dress, and Alaia Heels. Needless to say, all of the girls looked absolutely stunning while showing off their Miami Best!

We all know anytime the Kardashians do an event, it is nothing short of perfection! The same can be said for the glamorous and very exclusive Grand Opening of DASH Miami (which took place on March 12th). The girls arrived very low key, and protected in an unmarked black SUV, that strongly resembled an Escelade (I'm not 100% sure)

Upon arriving, the girls walked the carpet and posed for a few press snap shots, showing off their amazing outfits, chic make-up, and flowing hair! Every sisters outfit was amazing, and different, yet they were all equally amazing. My favorite outfit overall is Kim, because her skirt and top together are very Miami Red Carpet appropriate, not too conservative, and not too over done. It makes me feel as if summer is a year around thing, which is what Miami is all about! There's no such thing as winter.

(Posted To Tumblr by kimkardashianfashionstyle)

they safely headed inside, and prepared to do a mix of a meet and greet as well as a mingling time. The turn out to meet the girls was nothing short of a mob. hundreds of Miami residents came out to take pictures, and give words of encouragement, and love to the all of the sisters. All in all, the grand reopening of DASH Miami was a successful and glamorous event that brought happiness to all of the KUWTK's Miami based fans!

Paris Fashion Week

Many of you may know that this week was Paris Fashion Week. With that, we got to experience some extraterrestrial show, as well as some down to earth, simple, yet classy shows, from Chanel holding their super-market inspired runway show at the famous Grand Palais in the heart of France, to Givenchy's ultra-thin runway down an old warehouse.  Every designer took their runway and lines to the max to impress the world.

Who Showcased?
Some of the designers that showcased at Paris Fashion Week were Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Giambattista Valli, Stella McCartney, Moschino, Givenchy, Chloe, Celine, Kenzo, Jean Paul Gaultier, Acne, Calvin Klein, Haider Ackermann, Vera Wang, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Nina Ricci, Balmain, and Balenciaga.

What styles are trending?
The top ten trends of Paris Fashion week were pretty pastels, boxy & cropped (Non-Moto) jackets, contrast-collar button-downs, wide-legged trousers, bomber jackets, tea-length skirts, sweater dressing (ex. Sweater & Mid Length Skirt), tuxedo-meets-athletic-side-striped trousers, the shift blouse, collarless coats (ex. long, streamlined coat, minus the collar or lapel). However, every designer had a unique way of showing these trends, some a lot more creative and daring than others.

What Make Up styles are trending?
Some of the top make up trends in Paris were Candy Lip Shades, Orange lips, Natural Lips, Inky Liners, a pastel wash of colors as well as drawn & penciled shapes around the eyes. Every designer chose to display these trends in different ways such as Marc Jacobs using Pastel Washes & Penciled shapes and Calvin Klein going for the natural look.

What were the Hairstyles?
Every runway had a different hairstyle; it all depended on the feel of the line that was being presented. Some styles included Single Layered Short Hair (Marc Jacobs), Undone Updos, Untouched and Untrimmed, Chunky French Braids, Parted Pony Tails, Front Waves & Sleek Low Pony Tails.

What's new in nails this season?
Natural Nails and Nude OPI Polish were a major hit on the runway! Some stylists chose to take a more daring route by placing a colored edged around a nude nail. Some designers also used the acrylic claw with an array of various colors.
Who was there?
As always, Paris Fashion Week brings out all of the A Listers, and then some! Throughout the week, celebrities such as Ellie Fanning, The Olson Twins, Bryanboy, Eva Chen, Susie Bubble, Soo Joo Park, Ursina Gysi, Anya Ziourova, Giovanna Battaglia, Humberto Leon, Katie Grand, Katie Shillingford, Anya Ziourova, Rihanna, Cara Delevingne, Katie Grand, The Kardashian Clan, and Many More!

Altogether, Paris Fashion week gave Fashionistas worldwide what they need until the next major show rolls around. I know that I definitely enjoyed every second of it, and particularly loved the Chanel line!
